Capt John Woodrum checked in from the Pursuit to report that they had really good fishing today at Catalina Island today, the did some deep and shallow water rockfishing. After we got our fill of rockfish with some really nice Reds, we headed for the kelp line. We managed to get a few Yellowtail and had them boiled around a lot. The water is still green and cold from the wind storm, we are headed out again tomorrow. Tomorrow is our Captains Special, all coming will only have to pay $45 to go out to Catalina Island and get in on the action. We depart everyday at 6 am, we are the first boat out everyday, see you on the boat.
