Good sign of things brewing for the better in the near future. Even with gnarly wind yesterday and tough conditions as a whole, we are seeing warmer and cleaner water than what we are used to seeing for this time of the year compared to last handful of years. Light load of 14 anglers today are going home with 3 yellowtail, 6 calico bass, 27 sheephead, 13 sculpin, 71 blue perch, and 11 whitefish.
Catching what we can and keeping the island honest at the same time while we wait for the rockfish opener next month. Only takes 12 to get us off the dock. Need a few more for tomorrow if anyone is interested. Call @22ndstreetlanding for information or reservations.
