Weekend Recap

Hey guys,

Chris here with a weekend recap of our fishing trips! This past weekend, we decided to head out to San Nicolas Island. After the last couple of weeks battling the wind while trying to catch yellowtail, we figured it was time to give that area a break, especially since the water temperature dropped 3 degrees in just a few days.

Taking advantage of the weather window, we set out for San Nicolas Island and had a blast reeling in sheep’s head, whitefish, rockfish, and some Lingcod—all quality fish! Almost every angler managed to take home full bag limits of quality catches.

We did spend a bit of time searching for game fish but didn’t find any signs at San Nicolas Island. However, we made great use of our time and filled up the bags!

Looking ahead, we have some trips coming up at just **$191.48**, but that price won’t last long due to a recent fuel increase in our area. It will soon become challenging to run overnight trips at that rate, so take advantage of the price while you can!

Visit our website at www.freedomfishing.com or call 22nd St Landing to book your spot. It only takes **15 anglers to book ** for us to make it off the dock!

Here are some pictures from over the weekend.
