John Woodrum called in to give this report for fishing aboard the Pursuit. "We fished Catalina Island. We had very good fishing here today. We had 70 Calico Bass. There was very good Bass action today. We released 150 and we kept 70. We ended up with 41 Barracuda, 66 Sheephead, 44 Opaleye Perch, 125 Blue Perch, 50 Whitefish, 32 Rockfish & 5 Sargo. Lots of fish in the bag, lots of Bass action today.

"We did see some Yellowtail roll around the boat. Hopefully we get some squid back in our bait tank and we can start catching some Yellows. The last couple days we haven't been getting any squid and that's why we haven't been catching any Yellowtail.
